Dear
friends,
I will try
to introduce myself shortly, hope the project will be approved and we will be
able to see and get to know each other.
My name is
Milka and I come from a small town-Kavadarci(40.000 inhabitants) in the
southern part of Macedonia,70 kms from the Greek border. It is a wine region and
famous for the productipon of the best wines which are produced in the
country,so almost every family has got their own vineyard.
I teach
English in a primary/lower secondary school and our school has got about 600
pupils every year.Children start our school at the age of six and finish at the
age of 14.Pupils start learning English at the age of six in the school.
I have two
sons,Ivan is 8 and Matej is 3.My husband is a computer engineer and takes care
of the computer system in the Court in my town.He is also the "money
maker" in my family
since he is a
trainer for NGOs and gives accreditation for many NGOs who work in
Macedonia. This allows him to travel a lot through the world and he has had
lecturing activities as far as India. The name of his NGO is Council for
prevention of juvenile delinquency.

I love life
and travelling and exploring different countries and traditions is my passion.I
have travelled a ot in many countries around the world.I also love cooking and
experimenting with all kind of food and seafood is my favourite.Another
passion is flowers and gardening
I met
Jolanta ,a wonderful person, during the e twinning conference in Sofia last
year.
As a school,we
have not had many projects so far, this will be a new experience for us.I took
part in a study visit in Finland last September and it was a very nice
experience for me.Last summer,I was a leader of a group in Switzerland,seven
youngsters and we took part in a cultural experience for two weeks. This year we
will do it again. Two years ago,I was also a leader of a group of children who
took part in a cultural sharing event through music.
I am very
eager to start working on a new experience. My facebook is Milka Mrkeva, you can
see some photos of me and my family there.
Looking
forward to hear from you all soon.
Regards,
Milka
